Texas Ski Ranch is a one-of-a-kind action sports complex that has a wide range of opportunities and activities available for customers of all ages. The Ski Ranch opened officially back in 2001 as a wakeboard cable park and boat dealership, from which we have expanded into the complex we are today. We are looking for motivated individuals who have a love for sharing their passion for board sports with customers and who are excited to become part of the TSR family!

Job Summary

If you enjoy sharing your passion for board sports with others, consider applying for one of our coaching positions. Coaches are an essential part of our team, and have a large responsibility in making sure that our customers are both enjoying their time as well as doing so in a safe manner. Our coaches should be well versed in a variety of board sports- from wakeboarding, to skate boarding, snowboarding- any experience level is welcomed. Responsibilities of coaches are generally outlined below. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensuring customer safety. Keeping a watchful and attentive eye on the water and riders at all times- must be attentive to detail, ability to think and react quickly, and stand firm in implementing outlined safety rules.
  • Share your skills. Coaching and teaching comes in all shapes and sizes- we expect you to work with customers to ensure they have the most positive experience at TSR possible. 
  • Representing TSR in a positive way. Serving as the longest point of contact with customers during their time here, you'll largely serve as the "face" of TSR. Cable ops report to the Outside Operations Manager and play an integral part in the day-to-day occurrences, events, and operations of Texas Ski Ranch.
  • Working with others. The TSR family is one big team, and there part of that includes the general upkeep of the property and working as a team to make our park the best it can be. Working in groups is essential to any position here at TSR.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Some coaching experience preferred, although not required.
  • Experience with board sports (wakeboarding, snowboarding, or skateboarding) preferred
